View Perry’s 2009 Schedule

Rick Perry’s official schedules for 2009, released today, show that he worked an estimated average 11 hour work week in 2009.

In 250 business days, Part-Time Perry had 65 days off, with no official work time, events, meetings or calls. He also took 27 long weekends.

“Texans deserve a governor who’s looking ahead to our state’s economic future, a governor who works as hard as they do,” said Katy Bacon, campaign spokesperson. “In 25 years of living off taxpayers, Rick Perry has lost track of who’s the boss and thinks it’s okay to nearly double state spending, double state debt and leave Texas with an $18 billion budget deficit. It’s not his money, it’s Texas taxpayers’ money.”
